Lori Prashker-Thomas Owner & Lead Officiant– Lori has always been a creative soul and a free spirit. Once she met her husband, Michael, she picked up a camera and was hooked. She has been a professional photographer & Co-Owner of ShadowCatcher Photography, LLC ever since.
Because she loved photographing weddings, she always wanted to become more involved in the wedding ceremony itself. She wanted to incorporate more of what she loves…writing. That is when she decided that it was time to become a wedding officiant so that she could write beautiful ceremonies for all couples.
Lori originally became ordained in 2011 with the Universal Life Church Ministry and continued her education to become an ordained “Rabbi” in June 2013 with the American Marriage Ministries. She is also a Certificated Wedding Officiant through the Wedding Merchant Business Academy. She always tells her couples that “I am a one-stop-shop…Officiant, Photographer, Hair & Makeup Squad & much more!!!”
Maria Tejeda– join us our Spanish Language Specialist and Officiant. Being born in the Dominican Republic and immigrating to the United States at the age of 9, Maria has broken many barriers. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management & is the proud owner of a Pennsylvania State Vehicle Inspection Facility.
There are many things that can get in the way of achieving one’s dreams, but Maria’s passion and determination to become successful have always been major factors in reaching milestones in her life. Although she interacts with different people in her line of work, being a part of Ceremonies by Lori has given her the opportunity to connect on a more intimate level. Each ceremony is unique, and it is an amazing feeling to experience firsthand how people can express their love for each.
Malaika Love – Malaika is joining Ceremonies by Lori as a newly ordained Wedding Officiant and Social Media Manager. Malaika has always enjoyed the creative side of life. Malaika loves to dance and sing and is passing that love of creativity onto her daughter. She will be spearheading campaigns on all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google Business, and TikTok.
