I have always been a creative soul and a free spirit. When I met my husband, Michael, I picked up a camera and was instantly hooked. That passion led me to become a professional photographer and Co-Owner of ShadowCatcher Photography, LLC, where I’ve spent years capturing life’s most meaningful moments.
Because of my deep love for weddings, I wanted to become even more involved in the ceremony itself. My passion for storytelling and writing inspired me to become a wedding officiant, allowing me to craft and deliver personalized, heartfelt ceremonies for ALL couples.
I was first ordained in 2011 with the Universal Life Church Ministry and continued my education to become an ordained Rabbi in June 2013 through American Marriage Ministries. I am a Humanist Celebrant through The Humanist Society, dedicated to crafting ceremonies that reflect the values and beliefs of each couple I serve.
I am always learning and expanding my expertise. In February 2024, I earned my Certified Professional Wedding Officiant (CPWO) certification through the International Association of Wedding Officiants (IAPWO). I also received my Wedding and Event Planner & Designer Certification through the Wedding MBA – Wedding Merchant Business Academy.
Beyond weddings, I have embraced another important calling—officiating Celebrations of Life. Life’s milestones deserve to be honored with meaning and love, whether it’s a joyous union or a heartfelt farewell. As a Celebrant, I help families create personalized, meaningful ceremonies to honor their loved ones with the dignity and remembrance they deserve.
In addition to my work as an officiant and photographer, I am also a Paralegal at Lehman Law, PC, an award author (From Mistakes To Miracles), a motivational/inspirational speaker, and director of the non-profit organization I Picture Hope.
I always tell my marriers:
“I’m a one-stop shop—Officiant, Photographer, Writer, Planner, Hair & Makeup Squad, and so much more!” 💕
