Happy Fall Everyone! I hope you all are having a great day. I want to first give a quick shout-out to all of the couples who most recently got married! Congratulations to Luisa and Sailon and Brittany and Brandon! I wish all of the couples many years together filled with happiness and love! I wanted to touch on the importance of what officiating means to us! We believe that love is love regardless of race, gender, sex, romantic orientation, sexual orientation, and relationship styles! If each couple loves each other, then it is our pleasure to officiate. When we say “couple,” you may automatically think of monogamous relationships or two people in one relationship. Here at CBL, we will officiate a wedding for non-monogamous or polyamorous couples who share or are in a relationship with multiple people. We want you to know that EVERYONE is welcome here!
Our business supports the LGBTQIA+ community and the individuals who live their lives authentically every day! LGBTQIA+ is a shortened acronym for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, pansexual, and two-spirited. Many more gender and sexuality identities are not listed, but we recognize and support them all equally. We want EVERYONE to know that this is an affirming space and a completely non-judgmental zone. Our whole team supports the LGBTQ+ community, and we stand as allies, always have, always will! With that being said, our support is an extension to all communities, including supporting non LGBTQIA+ communities such as heterosexual (Straight) cisgender monogamous couples. We don’t want anyone to feel like we support one community over the other but rather understand that we believe all people should have the right to love who they love equally!
